Friendship Health & Rehab Center Promotes Tashina Adams to Director of Nursing

Friendship Retirement Community, a local leader in senior living and rehabilitation, announces the promotion of Tashina Adams from Assistant Director of Nursing to Director of Nursing of Friendship Health & Rehab Center.

“Tashina’s professionalism and excellent communications skills have been her strengths since her first days with Friendship,” said Ben Higgins, Friendship’s Vice President of Healthcare Operations.  “So, in a time where culture and teamwork are differentiators to combat staffing challenges, Tashina was a natural fit to lead our skilled nursing facility.”

Adams joined the Friendship team in 2018 as the Assistant Director of Nursing for Friendship Health & Rehab Center. Adams has been a nurse for the last 22 years, serving in leadership roles across the Roanoke Valley in both the acute care setting and the post-acute long-term care setting.
