Friendship Living Appoints Stephanie Landes As New Director of Marketing
ROANOKE, Va. (January 8, 2019) – Friendship, a local leader in senior living and rehabilitation, has announced the selection of Stephanie Landes as its new Director of Marketing.
Landes, a graduate of Susquehanna University, joined the team in December.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stephanie,” said Joe Hoff, President & CEO. “She brings tremendous experience in marketing senior living and has a successful fundraising background. She’s a great addition to our leadership team.”
Landes joined the senior living industry in 2011, serving as Foundation Director for Shenandoah Valley Westminster-Canterbury. During her tenure, Landes oversaw the creation of the community’s supporting foundation, completed a $5 million campaign for the Fellowship Fund, and also founded the social accountability program, which measured and encouraged giving that benefitted the greater community.
“Serving others, especially the senior population, is extremely fulfilling,” said Landes. “Helping individuals find a beautiful home, peace of mind and quality care is a way I can give back to those who have already given so much.”
In August 2016, Landes and her family relocated, following their dreams to live at Smith Mountain Lake. Landes soon accepted a position with Richfield Living, overseeing the community’s marketing and fundraising efforts. While there, her main accomplishments were revamping the community’s digital marketing efforts and creating a new annual event, the Celebration of Life & Lights, aimed at building relationships, awareness and financial support for the organization.
Landes is a certified fund raising executive (CFRE), which is a credential that demonstrates an individual’s mastery of the standards set for core knowledge and skills required of fundraising executives with at least five years of experience.
“I’m honored to join Friendship,” said Landes. “The community is committed to encouraging individuals to live the best life possible and there is no better mission than that.”
